I am fully qualified in STOTT Mat Pilates Level 3, accredited by Central YMCA, with additional specialist training in one-to-one Pilates, posture assessment, Wall and Chair Pilates, back care, Pilates for older adults, and massage techniques.

My own journey with Pilates began in 2015, and the impact was immediate. After just one session, I felt stronger, more aligned, and more connected to my body. As a mother of three, I had struggled with ongoing back pain following pregnancy and spent years relying on osteopathy to manage discomfort. Living in remission from MS also led me to search for ways to support my mobility, nervous system, neuro- pathways and overall wellbeing naturally. Pilates transformed not only my physical strength and flexibility, but also the way I felt in everyday life. My aches and pains reduced significantly, my core strength improved, and I regained mobility and confidence I had not experienced in years.

That experience inspired me to train as a Pilates teacher so I could help others experience the same benefits. I spent a long time finding the right training pathway and have continued to expand my knowledge through specialist courses and ongoing professional development.

I now run weekly group Pilates classes in Punnetts Town and Broad Oak, creating welcoming and supportive sessions suitable for all abilities. I also offer a limited number of private one-to-one sessions tailored to individual needs, including rehabilitation support following injury or surgery, back care, mobility work, posture improvement, and Pilates for hip, knee, shoulder, and spinal conditions.

A one-to-one Pilates session is the perfect place to begin if you are new to Pilates, returning after injury, or would simply like more personalised support before joining a group class. During your session, we can discuss any injuries, health conditions, mobility concerns, or specific goals you may have, allowing me to tailor the exercises to suit your individual needs and abilities.

Private sessions provide the opportunity to build confidence, improve technique, and develop a deeper understanding of how your body moves. I will guide you carefully through each exercise to ensure you are moving safely, effectively, and with the correct alignment, while also helping you understand which modifications and adaptations work best for your body. This can help you feel more comfortable and supported when progressing into a class environment.

Ongoing weekly one-to-one Pilates sessions are ideal if you are looking for a more personalised and focused approach, or if group class times do not fit with your schedule. These sessions are fully tailored to you and can support a wide range of goals including rehabilitation, injury recovery, back care, posture improvement, strength building, flexibility, mobility, balance, and overall wellbeing. Working together consistently allows us to create a Pilates programme that evolves with your progress and supports your long-term health and movement goals. One-to-one sessions are particularly beneficial for clients recovering from surgery or injury, managing ongoing conditions, or wanting dedicated support and guidance throughout their Pilates journey.
